Computer Creation & Coding With Kano

Cost: $369 before May 1st, $399 after May 1st

 

 

Ages 8 – 16. NEW CAMP FOR 2016! In Computer Creation & Coding with Kano students will build their own pocket size computer with the Kano computer kit. After the computer is created, students will go through coding exercises and build projects within their computer. At the end of the week, students will take home their computer to continue learning and building new things with their Kano (Raspberry Pi) computer kit.

TWO CAMPS FOR TWO DIFFERENT AGE GROUPS! We have a “Basic” camp for ages 8 – 12 that will create the Kano computer and target exercises and projects for this age group. The “Advanced” camp will be for ages 12 – 16 and will create the Kano computer, utilize light kits, and have more complex exercises and projects.

Below is a quick overview of what will happen with the Kano camp:

 

 

 

Some things you will learn how to do:

– Build a computer with easy step by step instructions
– Creat projects like Snake, Pong, Minecraft and more
– Utilize connected light kits where applicable
– Share your projects online
– Learn to apply programming concepts

Space will be limited for these camps. Spots will be available per weekly session at $399 ($369 before May 1st) for each session. The camp will meet daily Monday – Friday from 9am – 4pm.
